Osoyoos Vertical and Component Tasting

Wow! I don’t know how many times we can invite you to join the BCWAS for another special one-of-a-kind evening, but we’re doing it again!  Come and meet Pascal Madevon, winemaker of the iconic Le Grand Vin of Osoyoos Larose.

Pascal will be giving a wonderful presentation, and you’ll have a rare chance to taste not only two years of Osoyoos Larose wine, but the 5 grape varietals that make up the Bordeaux-style blend.  (Congrats to you if you can name all 5 without looking them up!)  As an extra-special treat, we are also getting to taste 3 Merlots from 3 different vineyards in different parts of the valley! This is an amazing opportunity to experience “terroir” for yourself.

If you’re already familiar with Osoyoos Larose, this is a great chance to see how this wine is made, from the ground up. If you haven’t tried Osoyoos Larose, come and taste why it’s one of BC’s premier Bordeaux-style blends!

Wines provided for the tasting will include:

  • Osoyoos Larose 2006

  • Osoyoos Larose 2007

  • Petales d’Osoyoos 2006

  • Petales d’Osoyoos 2007

  • 5 separate components of the 2009 blend

  • 3 separate terroirs of the 2009 Merlot

As an added bonus, we will be enjoying appies prepared by the Chef of the Listel especially to pair with the Osoyoos Larose wines.
