Four wine societies: the British Columbia Wine Appreciation Society, the Vancouver American Wine Society, the Australian Wine Appreciation Society, and Les Chevaliers des Vins de France, are planning their first ever joint event, and you are invited!
This will be a true wine challenge. Each Society will enter three red wines. Each wine may cost up to $40 truly world class and must be currently available in BC. All wines will be tasted blind not even the organizers will know which is which.
Vote for your favourite and see at the end of the evening which Society's Presidents will have the privilege of wearing the Gold, Silver and Bronze medals!
Date: Tuesday, January 19, 2010
Place: Listel Hotel, 1300 Robson
Time: 7:30-9:30 pm
Cost: Members $45, Guests $55 (members of any of the four Societies can sign up at the Member price)

The BC Wine Appreciation Society has been assigned 22 seats for this tasting and we must closely monitor sign-ups so we don't exceed our limit. We are asking members who want to attend to e-mail us at membership@bcwas.com with the name(s) of both the members and the guests. In turn, we will e-mail you back a PayPal invoice, from which you can log on to PayPal and pay for your seat(s).
